swan

ot only men face the storm,

the hurricane kills animals and nobody cares.

animals that are watching us;

the swan says nothing and doesn’t understand

why nobody cares of its soul.

it travels the storm, it braves the rain that was already there, that suddenly is too much

unmanageable.

the swan says nothing, waits for rest, knowing before it reaches the end, it must descend to its deepest bend.

the swan says nothing.

the swan says nothing,

hearts pierced by swords,

black pain it hoards.

the swan says nothing,

its fury alights,

its gaze ignites.

the swan says nothing,

it flies, extends,

its strength ascends.

the swan says nothing,

its dance unfolds,

its stare holds.

the swan says nothing,

mute, it observes,

its herd it serves.

the swan says nothing,

two lives below,

white whispers show.

the swan says nothing,

it rests in streams,

it holds your dreams.

the swan says nothing,

its white design,

paints souls divine.

the swan says nothing,

becomes a woman,

time has softened.

the swan says nothing.
